Clarity Cards provides personalised tarot readings for reflection. For any privacy question, contact us at helloclaritycards@gmail.com.

• Your first name — used to address the reading.
• Your email address — used to send you a copy of your reading.
• Your question, and any extra context you choose to add.
• Your date of birth, only if you choose to provide it (optional).
• Payment confirmation details from our payment processor.

We never ask for card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.

We use your information to generate your reading, display it to you, and email you a copy. Your question and any context are used solely to prepare that reading. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that make the site work: Stripe (payment processing), our hosting and email delivery providers, and the AI provider that helps compose the reading text. These providers process data on our instructions.

Payment records are retained by Stripe and by us for the period required by UK tax and accounting rules.

We keep an internal copy of each completed reading — your first name, email address, your question and any context you shared, the cards drawn and the reading text — so that we can answer support queries, resolve payment disputes and check the quality of the readings we deliver. These copies are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (running the service, handling disputes and maintaining quality). You can ask us to delete your copy sooner at any time.

We only send marketing emails if you tick the optional consent box at checkout. Our lawful basis is your consent. If you opt in, we store your email address, your first name, where the sign-up came from, the date you consented and a random unsubscribe token. We do not store your reading in your marketing record.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing helloclaritycards@gmail.com. Marketing emails are separate from your reading email: unsubscribing never stops you receiving the reading you have paid for.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email helloclaritycards@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Essential storage is used only to carry your reading details through the checkout step, and is cleared once your reading is delivered.
